Yes. You create the Revenue and Expense categories that make sense for your business, then assign your transactions to the appropriate category. This makes it easier to see where your money is coming from and where it is going.

Yes. You can reconcile your checking, savings, credit card, and other accounts each month. Reconciling your accounts helps make sure your books match your bank and credit card statements.

Yes. Big E-Z Books+ includes built-in invoicing. You can create invoices even from your mobile phone, email them to your customers with merchant payment links, track what is still owed, and apply payments when they come in.

Yes. Double-entry bookkeeping happens automatically behind the scenes. You enter the transaction details, and Big E-Z Books+ takes care of creating the balanced accounting entries for you.

Yes. You can import a CSV file from your bank or credit card company. You can map the columns to match your file, and your saved mapping can be used again the next time you import transactions.

You can try our interactive demo for free without creating an account. Big E-Z Books+ subscriptions are available for businesses that are ready to start keeping their books in the app.

Yes. You can manage your subscription from inside the app. Go to Settings > Subscription & Billing. If you cancel, you will continue to have access through the end of your current billing period.

You will want to export your data in a CSV before the end of your current billing period. Go to Settings > Export your data > Export all my data and save this file for your future needs. 

Yes. You can invite your bookkeeper, accountant, business partner, or other team members. You can also control what they can access by assigning the appropriate user role.

Yes. You can export your transactions, reports, and account information. This gives you a copy of your financial information when you need it.

Uncategorized means a transaction has not been assigned to a category yet. Big E-Z Books+ helps you find these transactions so you can review them and finish categorizing your books.

If one transaction needs to be divided between two or more categories, you can use the split feature. For example, if one purchase includes both office supplies and advertising, you can split the transaction between those categories.

A Trial Balance shows the balances in your accounts and helps verify that your debits and credits are equal. It is one of the reports that helps confirm your books are in balance.

We recommend doing your bookkeeping at least monthly. Staying caught up makes month-end much easier and helps you spot problems before they become bigger problems. Big E-Z Books+ also includes a Month-End Checklist to help you stay on track.
